Titanic's Third Class Berth's Return to Diagram

Third class berths aboard Titanic were simple, but they were clean and comfortable. Located where they were on the lower decks, third class passengers would pick up a bit of vibration and engine noise as compared to the first class cabins on the upper decks. There were shared toilets but wash basins, heat and clean linen in every cabin. The White Star Line made every effort to appeal to all the classes. The third class accommodations including the plentiful meals were better than most of the passengers had it where they originated from. Third class aboard Titanic was comparable to 2nd class aboard many other transatlantic liners of the day.
